LTL freight recovery for U.S. shippers

We help turn freight billing errors into documented recovery cases.

Send us the invoice and shipment evidence. We compare billed charges against the quote, rate confirmation, BOL, POD, and supporting records, identify evidence-backed discrepancies, help organize the carrier dispute, and track the case through the credit or refund outcome.

How recovery works

Not another dashboard. A hands-on recovery workflow.

The goal is not to hand you software and create another task for your team. We start with the shipment documents and work through the recovery case with you.

1

Send one recent shipment

Share the final carrier invoice plus the matching quote, rate confirmation, or shipment documents. Unrelated confidential information can be redacted.

2

We reconcile the charges

We compare the invoice against the shipment record and look for reweigh, reclass, accessorial, duplicate, and rate discrepancies.

3

We build the evidence trail

If a charge appears disputable, we organize the relevant quote, BOL, POD, rate support, and other records into a clear recovery case.

4

Track the outcome

With your authorization, we support the carrier dispute process and follow the case through the final credit, refund, rejection, or request for more evidence.

What we check

Built around the documents your shipment already created.

Not every invoice increase is wrong. The review is designed to separate supported charges from discrepancies that may be worth challenging.

✓
Quote / rate confirmation vs. invoice

Did the billed base rate match the commercial terms and shipment record?

✓
Reweigh and reclass support

Is there carrier documentation supporting the new weight, class, or resulting charge?

✓
Unexpected accessorials

Were liftgate, limited access, detention, redelivery, or similar fees supported by the shipment evidence?

✓
Duplicate and mismatch checks

Did the same charge appear twice, or did the final invoice drift from the agreed or recorded shipment terms?

Why use a recovery desk?

You can audit freight internally. The question is who owns the last mile.

Freight Recovery Desk is most useful when your team can spot an odd charge but does not have the time, workflow, or dedicated ownership to gather evidence, pursue the dispute, and verify the final credit.

Internal spreadsheet

Useful for checking known rules, but someone still has to maintain the rate logic, locate documents, and follow every exception.

Audit software

Useful for detection at scale, but your team may still own the exceptions, evidence, carrier communication, and recovery tracking.

Recovery desk

We focus on the evidence and recovery workflow itself, starting with real cases rather than asking you to adopt another software product.

Founding recovery cases

Start with one real LTL invoice.

We are currently validating the recovery service with a small number of U.S. shippers. The first review is designed to answer one question: is there an evidence-backed discrepancy worth pursuing?

  • Best fit: regular LTL shipping with recurring invoices
  • One recent shipment is enough for the first review
  • Redacted documents are accepted
  • No software installation or subscription
Founding review
Free first invoice review

No checkout and no upfront payment for the initial review. If a case moves into a broader recovery engagement, scope and any fee are agreed before work begins.

FAQ

Before you send a case

Is this a software product?

No. Freight Recovery Desk is currently a hands-on recovery service. We may use internal tools to speed up document comparison, but the customer is buying the review and recovery workflow, not a software subscription.

What documents are useful?

A recent carrier invoice plus the matching quote or rate confirmation is a good start. BOL, POD, weight or class support, and other shipment records can help when a discrepancy requires evidence.

Do I need to send confidential documents immediately?

No. Start with one recent case, and redact unrelated confidential information. We will only ask for additional supporting records when they are relevant to the review.

Do you dispute every invoice increase?

No. Some rebills and accessorials are valid. We focus on discrepancies that appear inconsistent with the available agreement or shipment evidence.

Do you guarantee a carrier credit or refund?

No. A review can identify and document a potential discrepancy, but the final outcome depends on the carrier, the contract, the shipment facts, deadlines, and available evidence.

How does pricing work after the first review?

The first founding review is free. If we proceed beyond that, the scope and any recovery-based or other fee are agreed in writing before work begins. No subscription is required for the founding service.

Have an LTL invoice that came back higher than expected?

Start with one shipment. We will review the documents and tell you whether the discrepancy appears worth pursuing.
